Black Hawk Select Stout

Dark and grainy. A bit tart, and definitely a dry, not a sweet stout. Drinkable, but nothing to rave about. With so many great stouts out there, I'll pass on this one, though don't get me wrong, I had no problem polishing off the three bottles that came in the sampler pack. ID

Big Eddy Russian Imperial Stout

Bought this, if you can believe it, to make milkshakes! Used this with Kahlua, Bailey's, Frangelico, and Creme de Banana for a tasty adult milkshake, pretty much the only way I'm choosing to drink a shake. Anyway, this is a good stout without all that fat! Dark with a touch of sweetness and a real creamy feel. Not too heavy, just right. This is the last of the 4-pack, and I'm sure I'll be picking up another. MB for a great stout. Ice cream is optional!

Red Tail Ale

Nice red color and flavor that is toasty with a hint of sweetness. Not so unlike the Smithwicks I had last night. Simply a solid all around drinking ale! ID

Eye of the Hawk Select Ale

Grainy on the nose and taste. A bit thick with grain flavor. Tasty, with just the right bitterness so that grain is not overpowering. Yeah, I got no problem drinking this. Not inside my normal wheelhouse of hoppy beers and stouts, but this feels good enough to warrant an MB when you want a straight up beer tasting beer!
