Yum Yum American Session Ale

This has a slight citrus, slight sour flavor. Maybe some kind of spice too? Easy to drink, strong smell but mild flavor. Not bad, but not the ZD I was looking for from my stop at the brewery tonight. ID

Bell's Best Brown Ale

This brewery was really my first true experience with microbrew! Growing up in Michigan in the '90s, Bell's was "the bomb"! This beer has a nice grain flavor, but that's held perfectly in check by ample bitterness. Nostalgia aside, this could actually be the best brown ale around. I often look past Bell's on the shelf nowadays, because I know it and I'm always on the hunt for the more exotic, and I don't generally count them among my top 5 brewers, but with this, TwoHearted, and the mind blowing Expedition Stout, I need to give them more credit, for being my first, and still being great decades later! MB on this one, for sure!

Ambergeddon Amber Ale

I'm generally not a fan of ambers, but I've had at least one good one. Now, make that two! All grain on the nose, and the taste is full on grain too, I mean, put your nose in a bag of fresh grain smell and taste, but, and here's the key, with sublime bitterness, and a bit of hop flavor, but no annoying sweetness. This is my idea of amber, kudos! MB

Scotty's Weirdo Pear Pale Ale

You can taste pear a bit, the cinnamon I'm not sure, but there is a spice element. I was about to complain that the spice was a bit much, until I saw the booze it's masking, so I get it, and instead say, "well done". Definitely a nice fruit beer. ID

Double-Wide IPA

A nice bitter IPA with hoppy fruit and perfumey flavors. I've had the "Single-Wide" version before (would have to look up the review) but this is really good, with good, unique hop flavor. The head is big, and won't seem to go down, but this has been sitting in the fridge for a long time. I'd buy it again, so MB.

Stiegl Goldbrau Premium Lager

Not much for plain old lagers, but these were on clearance for 99¢ so I bought a couple. Smooth, and good body, beats a standard American lager, but not by much for an ale drinker. ID

Anniversary Ale Single Hop Cascade Pale Ale

I wanted to try this, to get a taste of Cascade all by itself. Really no nose to it, and not a lot of hop flavor. Kind of a buttery flavor, that feels like I've tasted from this brewer before, so maybe that's their yeast strain. Easy to drink, with ample bitterness, so this is a good drinking beer. ID
