Edacsac Dekoorc Eert

Bitter and refreshing. I'm not sure what it means to Dark Horse that they're using Cascade hops on this version of Crooked Tree (brewed with only, dry hopped with, etc) but this is bitter, but not much for hop flavor. Well there is a bit of nice flavor, but little/no aroma. This is good, but some of the other versions were better.

Ollopa Dekoorc Eert IPA

So this is Crooked Tree, but with Apollo hops. Nice and creamy but with a hop bite. One of a few IPAs I have on hand. Nice to learn of some different hop flavors.

Warlock Imperial Stout Brewed with Pumpkins

I said no pumpkin ale this year . . ., but I suppose a pumpkin stout is OK! This is like drinking a black pumpkin pie! It is not stouty at all. The pumpkin really dominates the flavor. And it is definitely REAL pumpkin, not just some cinnamon, nutmeg, clove flavor. This is a really good beer that all will enjoy, as Southern Tier usually makes, which is why they're one of my top brewers. Even the burp is pumpkin! I just doubt that this is really a stout (I suspect just a bit of midnight wheat for color), but it is still a really good beer! MB

Space Station Middle Finger American Pale Ale

Nice hop flavor to this. Fresh hop flavor. Thin and refreshing. Holds a head really well. Plenty bitter. Maybe just a bit too thin, but hey, this beats the pants of lite beer! ID
