Aunt Sally Sour Mash Ale

A nice hoppy nose, and then . . . wow, that is truly a "sweet tart" ale! I've been exploring the sour genre a bit, and this is a nice one. Clean and refreshing, sour for sure, but not the pure lemon juice flavor of some I've tried. This stays slightly sweet if you hold it in your mouth, but be ready to pucker up as you swallow! I probably could not drink more than one of these at a sitting, but as a one off experience, it is definitely worth a taste if you enjoy something sour! ID

Right*O*Way*IPA

Thin and light, but with a distinct aroma and flavor of fresh hops. Fairly bitter on the back end. Low alcohol means this would be my new favorite to guzzle all day doing yard work all Summer, if I can get it for a decent price! ID

Marooned on Hog Island

A stout brewed with Hog Island Sweetwater oyster shells. WTF? This is the second beer I've had that is brewed with oysters. Who came up with this crazy idea? But . . . I love it! There is no fishy taste here, simply a bit of salt. I love salt. I love beer. I love a slightly salty beer! And to contrast the normal sweetness of a stout, the addition of salt just works for me. Gotta go MB!

Armory XPA

An experimental pale ale. Soft and easy drinking. A bit of fragrant tropical sweetness, all from hops not malt. I could drink alot of this! MB

Black Butte Porter

Thick and perfectly malty. Just a nice straight up Porter with a nice burnt flavor. Slight sweetness but ample bitterness. If you want a refreshing Porter, this is your beer! MB

Romantic Chemistry IPA

I just had a fruit IPA last night. This one is brewed with mango, apricots, and ginger. Sweetness trumps the usual IPA bitterness, but the bitterness is there at the back end, otherwise this would be too sweet for me. Taken all together it is good, but nothing about it is driving me wild or piquing my imagination as Dogfish often does. ID

Live Citrusy Session Pale Ale

Nice hop flavor. Bitter and a bit thin. I wish this had a bit more malt body. But not bad at all. ID
