The Waldos' Special Ale

I found Waldo! After seeing their Facebook posts, I thought I was going to have to travel around the city to find this. But nope, grocery shopping with my kids and BAM, I pile of them at Mariano's, $11.99 a sixer, quite the deal for what it is. One'll get you drunk. Two will black you out. I'm on my 2nd tonight! Couldn't think of a better beer to drink on 4/20. Brewed by a brewery with pothead roots, for folks who like the dank, resiny flavor. This does not disappoint. Smoking with hop flavor, and so heavy handed, I would believe it if you told me it was weed infused. It is not an easy drinking brew. Don't guzzle or you'll end up in the hospital or the ground! But definitely partake! Maybe take a swig and pass it round the circle. The penultimate beer from my perspective. Gotta get more right away, as a OneHitter, it will be unavailable soon, if not already. Happy 420 everybody! Now back to my beer and the other trappings of the day! MB

Pinball Juicy Hop Pale Ale

Nicely bitter, well beyond its IBU rating, and a distinct malt character. On the previous cans, I thought I noted hop flavor, but I can't taste it now. Hmm, just an average (I)PA taste. ID

Passion Juice IPA

An IPA with passion fruit juice added. Definitely juicy, with a pretty pronounced and delicious sour quality. I'm just so loving all these crazy fruit enhanced IPAs lately. How did we survive so long as beer drinkers with putting fruit in everything but an IPA?! After having so many now, I can't understand why we all haven't been putting fruit in IPAs sooner! This is a solid, delicious offering, a perfect brew for folks transitioning to sours. ID+
