Shipyard IPA

I had planned on this beer as being my first "skunk" rating, after drinking a bottle a few weeks ago. Last night I found the courage to try a second, and two more today have proved my original feeling wrong. Maybe it was a bad bottle. Still, this is nothing to write home about (OK, so why am I?) with a real lack of hop flavor for an IPA, and check out that white afro! When I go India, it is because I want hops up the nose - hell up the wazoo. This delivers none, maybe because it is based on Fuggles? Not sure since I haven't brewed in so long I forgot the aroma of that variety.

Anyway, no IBU or alcohol content listed, but good enough to chase down the Italian sausage (sorry, turkey Italian sausage) I had for dinner. Not on my list for a future purchase, but then again I wouldn't kick your crotch if you showed up in my basement with a six either. But for $10, you could definitely do better, chum. A twisty even! 12 oz bottle. ID
