Krampus Imperial Helles Lager

My second beer from this brewer, and another seemingly made up category IHL (isn't that a hockey league?). The first drink had a strange off flavor of butterscotch. If I learned nothing from my last brew, it is to let it breathe, maybe for a while. Even a few minutes and that was gone. Amber color and very clear. Not a pleasant smell, but nice and bitter, and a great hop flavor, but not over the edge. I am really starting to appreciate beers that taste this good that can kick at a high single-digit percent. According to the story on the bottle, whips and chains are destined for the naughty. As long as we can have a pint at the end, bring it. ID
