Lobster Ale Red Ale

A strong barley wine like odor and after taste. Not a lot of flavor but a hint of sweetness and nice bitterness. I can drink this, but awhile back a beer-drinking friend couldn't finish a glass and at the time I agreed, hence the rare skunk rating. I'm a big red fan and this doesn't quite measure up to many other fine specimens. Also past its freshness date, so maybe not the brewer's fault but the store's. SK
