Hop Flood

Always big expectations for a beer with "hop" in the title. Darker than I expected, and grainy nose. Very nice dark, dry grain flavor, balanced by hop bitterness. Was gonna pan this one because I felt duped by the lack of hop flavor, but that unique dry, very roasted grain flavor wins this over. But they should have named it "Mud Flood" or something better to denote that the dark grain was the master of this mix. MB.
