Ten Hills American Pale Ale

First had this on draft at the HAWKS games, an alternative to cheap crap beer, and even the more popular barely bonified ales. From the first sip, this was better than the rest. You definitely get a whiff and taste of unusual hops. The malt backbone is right, but not noticeable. That's my kind of beer. Why this is a "limited release" when I bought it 'cause they weren't selling IPA and yet this is better than their IPA, I don't know. But if enough of us start drinking this, they'll have no choice but to pump this out all year round! MB

12oz bottle, 48 IBU, 6.2% ABV
Goose Island Beer Company
Baldwinsville, NY & Fort Collins, CO (not Chicago anymore?! They've farmed the name out elsewhere?! Oh, Fuck!)
purchased "on sale" at Kenwood
