Alaskan White (Wit-Style Ale Brewed with Spices)

I love how the color of this beer perfectly matches the color of the label. I'm expecting this to basically be Blue Moon, but damn, this is down right good! Not my style of beer usually, this is crisp, clean, and the perfect bit of pleasant flavor from the subtle spices. Either I'm just parched or they hit a home run on this one! MB

Modus Mandarina IPA

Bright orange color, and orange flavor, which I'm surprised to realize that I don't much care for. Actually it tastes much better today than when I first tried it a few days ago. It says it is dry hopped with "Mandarina Bavaria" hops, which I've never heard of, and brewed with orange peels. Definitely an orange flavor comes through at warmer temperatures, backed up by a solid IPA. My first taste, straight from the freezer, was misleading. All in all, not too shabby. ID

Vallejo IPA

Why should I pay $10 for 4 pints of this brew? That sounds expensive to drink at home, but then again that would be dirt cheap for craft beer at a bar, and I like my home better than a bar anyway, so ... perspective. Smells kinda skunky, but not bad skunky like old Heineken in college. This is skunky like new breed hops, or weed or something! It has flavor, for sure. Not clean and simple like the last beer I rated, nor some unpleasant funky flavor like the last beer I drank, to be rated later. Just a unique, skunky/funky flavor that I can't deny being fun, fresh, and happy. MB? Let's go with that!

Alaskan Summer (Kolsch Style Ale)

Easy to drink. A pleasant, slight sweetness, otherwise refreshing. A grainy aroma. I didn't think I cared for this, but right now it's hot, I'm pissed, and this tastes great and makes me feel better! Wow, I'll take it. No small feat! MB
