Toast
What no New Year's post? Must have been a good night! Eh, mellow actually. And I've been mostly stuck on the same beers for a few days, except the quick Okocim I had at a buddy's house. Forgot how good that was, but that will be another post. Anyway, for a New Year's, or any toast, I'm a fan of Ballatore Gran Spumante champagne (er, sparkling wine to be legal). Cheesy and mainstream I'm sure, but it is the only champagne I buy. This year I stole an idea from a magazine my wife had to freeze some strawberries and put two in each flute. The flavor was a subtle but spectacular edition, and the bottle lasted only a few minutes for two! MB
