Bonfire Brown Ale

Very dark tasting, with an ever so slight sweetness, and very, very dry. The hop bitterness is substantial as well, balancing all those dark malt flavors, without generating any extreme bitterness, ala IPAs. This is just a well built machine of a beer! Amazingly good, with just a spectacular flavor. Pick some of this up for dark flavor and easy drinking fun! MB And from the South-West corner of Michigan? I enjoy traveling to breweries for fun. But somehow I have just ignored all these great breweries along that corridor I pass through on the expressways several times per year at least. WTF? I'm going to make sure this summer involves a number of day trips out that way for some brewery hopping fun! And pick up a case of this while I'm at it, since the single bottle I bought in a "mix ur own six" is not gonna satisfy my craving for this one.

12 oz bottle, 20 IBU, 5.5% ABV
Saugatuck Brewing Company
Douglas, MI
purchased at Binny's
