Goose Island IPA
Had this before I'm sure, but just discovered I could get it at the Hawks game, at a stand with no line, instead of waiting an entire intermission for a Sam Adams, the best beer I could previously find, which isn't saying much. Anyway, drink local, right? Ha! The bottle says it's from New York!! I new the Goose had recently sold out, but I thought there was an agreement to keep it Chicago based. Disappointing! Anyway, this is mostly a standard IPA, but it has a hint of a very nice hop flavor, on the variety of Bell's Two-Hearted Ale, but more subtle. Still, a good drink, and a MB if you're at United Center near section 325. I'm in 323, just a skip away to a short line for a good beer! So I'm happy, and will be partaking of more of this come tomorrow for game one of Hawks vs Wings, original six playoff hockey. Life is good!
