Iniquity Imperial Black Ale (IBA)

I'm not sure if IBA is an official beer category, as I've never seen one before, but it should be. The label describes it as "the antithesis of unearthly" which I thought might be a creative way of saying it tastes like dirt (would that be antithesis of unearthy?), but not so. It is opaque, black, sweet, but not overly thick and with good carbonation. Probably an idoiotic comparison, but after two sips I thought this tastes a lot like the Guinness 250 which I've only had on draft (future post on that when I'm next at the Joyce). I like it, but I think I'll need to brush my teeth (or drink a bud light) to clean the sugar from my mouth when I finish. ID
