(Imperial) Farmer's Tan Pale Lager

The name describes it right. It is very light in color and flavor, dare I say it, like a mass produced beer (Bud, etc) but with a nice bitterness, and a slight sweetness at the back of the tongue. Before it sounds like I'm dogging on it, it is very good, light, refreshing, tasty, just not like the ales I'm usually drinking. Not heavy on the stomach at all, and here's the kicker: 8.6% alcohol! This is malt liquor strength, with such a clean light flavor you'd never know, and I almost don't believe the label. Usually a high alcohol lager I get like this is European and they are always too sweet. This American farmer is perfect when this is what you want to go for. MB
