SAHTEA Sahti Beer

This beer has a funky sweetness and aroma that is immediately recognizable, but just seems like a brew gone bad. Some nice bitter and complicated flavors. After about the 4th sip, what started as strange and unpleasant morphs into a very interesting drink. The sweetness lines the sides of the tongue. There is almost a hint of a mint-like flavor, probably from the juniper berries. Definitely different. Not something I would drink regularly, but this is an archeology trip that all beer drinkers should take at least once. ID but MB once.
