Dragon's Milk

The aroma is of roasted grains & whiskey, I guess from the oak barrels it's aged in. Very little carbonation. It is a slightly sweet stout, but dry as well. The immediate aftertaste is whiskey, which fades to sweetness and then on to roasted grain. Normally I can't tolerate a booze taste in my beer (you may not see me rate a scotch ale) but I gotta say this works. Really warms the throat, so I guess nursing prepares a dragon to breathe fire. So if you like dark beer, and want something different, give this high gravity dragon a ride. ID
